Micah Hewitt is a new vigneron on the block. In the cellar, all wines are handmade, no-tech and involve ‘minimal fuckery’ as he describes. Majority of his wines are zero-zero, with the exception of a few cuvées. 

The inspiration behind the name Defialy comes from Micah's parents, who would sign each letter or card they wrote to him and his sister with it when they were growing up. It's an acronym for "Don't Ever Forget I'll Always Love You".

Dark ruby with purple reflections. The nose shows slight notes of reduction and hints of vanilla. On the palate the wine is wild and concentrated with notes of plums and blackberries. Potential to develop more clarity with some time in the bottle. To serve between 16-18ºC.
